It is a universally accepted thing that our work is worship and we should not compromise with our work. Whatever work that has been entrusted to us by the Almighty, we must perform with absolute integrity and devotion. So some of us are farmers sowing and cutting the crop, others are business persons and some others are professionals or doing different jobs. The work allocation is just to make a complete picture so we have been ordained to do something. The question is are we complaining to the Almighty, are we saying look the Doctor is earning more than me or citing some other examples that he or she is more capable or happier than me? If this type of conflict is going on it means we are not satisfied with what we have been given, with our role that is to be played. It is like someone who always makes a complaint that he has no money to buy a shoe until one day he sees a person who has no legs. Then that person realizes that it is of no use to cry, how lucky he is that he has been given at least the legs to walk.
Hence question is whether what we have is sufficient, it is as per our requirements, it is as per our given role,, as the film Director knows what costumes are required for a particular role, and he arranges and gives it to different actors performing different roles. A King can not be given the old shattered clothes, likewise, the person performing the role of a poor person can not wear the gold ornaments. And mind it no role is good or bad, the Director keeps changing the roles, we might be bigger today and can be given the role of rich person tomorrow, Again mind it that these are just roles, in actuality no one is King or No one is poor. We have to perform till we are alive. When the show of 50 or 80 years comes to an end, no one is big or small, we have to shed off our costumes given by the Director (the Almighty) and will move as empty-handed. This was the condition when we came here and this is the condition when we are going from the stage. So no difference, no permanent effect, it was just a transition, just a temporary face to wear something for a limited time, till our reel was made. So no one can make us King or Poor everybody is equal, The empty hand we come and the empty hand we go. Yes the temporary role that has been allotted to us depends upon our past performance and conduct. If we perform well in negative roles we may get a chance to perform as positive role of Hero also in the next episode. So briefly this is the story of our life, our live performance, do what we have been directed to do and in doing so we must pay attention to our roles only.
Our present is the reflection of past, to which Guru Arjun Devji has explained as Karma Sandra Khet, As we sow so shall you reap. No question of blaming any one. uske ghar sada sada hai niyay. karam jo jo karega, vahi phir bhogna aur bharana. so it is nothing but the kramic theory. karm sidhant. boye ped babul ka aam kaha te kahay, says Kabir.
